Reading Inscriptions from Mewar (southern Rajasthan) A.D. 7th-15th Century

Abstract: this lecture will explore the progress of the state formation in southern Rajasthan and also identify legitimation strategies by ruling families to solidify their control over territory.
I will integrate an analyses of inscription as well as other archival material during my presentation.
